Brand Statement

Mr.Bae is the newest premium meat snack brand in Singapore. As one of the most iconic local delights, Bak Kwa is an old school Chinese style dried meat snack.

Mr.Bae tried to present a fresh and premium look for this product line. They aim to create tasty, purposeful, and functional meat snacks to all nationalities and cultures with innovative meat recipes. Each Masterpiece is created with a fusion of Chinese and Japanese Ingredients.

Deliverables and TakeAways

It's not a stereotype if it's well-executed. We paired gold foil with a modern font to bring out both the masterfulness and the uniqueness of the brand. The main brand name Mr.Bae is placed in a royal gold frame together with the brand tagline. The main focus is to create a set of consistent master logos (aka. sub-branding).

 

SpicyBae and HoneyBae are two independent product lines for Mr.Bae. The branding highlights the flavor of the products and speaks to a younger target group.

The dynamic flow of the master logo and illustration provide unlimited possibilities for the brand to expand its product range. The design captures the core value of the brand, while clearly communicating the unique flavors of its product. 

 

Packaging design is one of the key components for snack branding. It needs to be impactful at a glance; at the same time, it has to be relatable and stay true to the brand value. The fine balance between aesthetic and content representation is crucial in packaging design.
